-Archer Hale
This book got to me. It wasn't perfect, but it really sat with me after I finished. It took me through so many emotions-- I laughed, I cried, and I fell in love with Archer right along side Bree. The characters were lovable, the character journeys toward healing/happiness were a joy to read, and the romance was gratifying. It was cheesy, but it was so good.
Some of the novel was predictable, and I was able to guess to the twist, but there were moments of pure shock too. The more we learn about the characters, the more heartbreaking their stories become. The connection that the characters make is so genuine. There is no insta-love, but rather natural progression.
Listen, you should not read this book if you are expecting literary mastery in terms of writing, but if you love love, then this is definitely a must read.
